Yakiv Volodymyrovych Tararoev

Yakiv Tararoev

Yakiv Volodymyrovych Tararoev (born on 13 February 1971) is a Doctor of Philosophical Sciences (2010), Professor (2012). His research interests include the philosophy of Science, philosophical aspects of cosmology, history of cosmological views and astronomy, history and philosophy of physics, ontological foundations of scientific knowledge, and forms and methods of the genesis of scientific knowledge. Professor Tararoev developed the original concept of the ontological foundations of modern natural and scientific knowledge, according to which the natural reality reflected in the theory is a construct of the human mind consisting of elements of theoretical and practical activity.

From 2014 to now, he heads the Department of Philosophy at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute.”

Dr. Tararoev has developed and teaches courses “Philosophy of Science,” “Philosophical Problems of Modern Scientific Knowledge,” “Worldview and Socio-cultural Foundations of Scientific and Technical Activity,” “Philosophical Problems of Modern Natural Science,” “Metaphysics and Ontology,” etc. He is the author of more than 100 scientific and scientific-methodological works.
